Brighter Minds Training
Brighter Minds unlocks the barriers we impose on ourselves and unleashes your potential

"Drew and I both went through the Brighter Minds assessment process and found the type and accuracy of information was impressive and helped explain certain lifelong patterns we each have experienced. Even more encouraging is the thought that the Brighter Minds program has developed instruction to help overcome these learning and thinking challenges. In my 30+ years as a classroom high school English teacher, well over half of those years as a co-taught content specialist, the two programs I have discovered that can help successfully create new neural pathways to achieve goals and overcome obstacles are Brighter Minds and Brain Gym®. Each works in different ways, and the combination seems optimal for Drew's success in reading and writing, as well as functioning in lifelong learning with the opportunity to succeed and eventually excell in Drew's career choices. I believe that Brighter Minds would be a valuable and perhaps necessary contributor to his success." J. DuBois, Language Arts Instructor, Tigard High School

"Your program has been a wonderful addition to our summer and I really see the value in what you have provided our kids. We have discussed how expanding Brighter Minds to support all of the kids would greatly benefit them all. Your program met and exceeded all of our program goals and intentions. Additionally, you have provide such love and care to our kids. Even in the most frustrating times, you were calm, cool and loving. You have a wonderful way with the kids and always see the positive side of things. I appreciate how flexible you were with the program and how easy you are to work with. You have wonderful energy and it showed in the students who you touched this summer. I am truly blown away with how you and the Brighter Minds program impact some of our most challenging students. Truly impressive." T. Diskin, Metropolitan Family Service

Career Advancement: Jay, a utility lineman in 2005, completed the program and is now a line foreman. He attributes his professional advancement to his Brighter Minds training which allowed him to "communicate with anyone, on any subject, in a confident manner.  I’m not even the same person. Brighter Minds opened my eyes to a whole other world.”  After completing the program, Jay became one of Brighter Minds premier trainers.

ADHD and Anger Management: Six-year-old Cody was an avid baseball player who would throw his bat, cry and lose all control if he did not play well. Since starting Brighter Minds training, Cody recognizes when he is losing control and gives himself a time out. His self-management on the baseball field and in the classroom has improved his stats and his grades. Because we teach and reinforce our empowering Life Approach Skills into every training session, dynamics within an entire family can improve because of positive changes in the "champion" family member.
“My son has shown improvement beyond belief!”

Dismissing Dyslexia: Dan, who had been diagnosed as dyslexic, was working as a janitor when he began Brighter Minds training. After only three training sessions, Dan began to read. But before he could continue with his training, his position was eliminated and he was laid off. This father of 8 children used his Brighter Minds training to secure a more challenging job at triple his previous wage. In an eloquent note to his Brighter Minds trainer, Dan attributed his success to his training. His then supervisor agreed that the janitor’s transformation was the result of Brighter Minds training.

Educational Achievement: Katie was on the brink of termination when her manager chose to send her through Brighter Minds training. Within three program modules, Katie wrote an educational paper that won national recognition. She presented her paper at a national teachers' convention, was offered a full-ride scholarship and is currently pursuing her doctorate in intercultural education. Katie, along with her former manager, considers her Brighter Minds training to be the catalyst to her current success. graduation

College Preparation: John came to Brighter Minds as a senior attending military prep school in California. An admitted high-achiever, John's dream was to attend a prestigious military university. But he and his parents knew that this would be difficult because of John's inability to read well and tendency to "blur" during timed tests. Brighter Minds took John through 8 modules of accelerated mental calisthenics. He learned how to apply his training techniques for academic testing purposes and he learned the value of Brighter Minds Life Approach Skills.  Not only did John attend Virginia Military Institute, his mother describes her once cool and formal son as a fun and socially engaging young man.

Overcoming Test Jitters: Matt's mother told us that he studied hours for tests, was always well-prepared, but that Matt collapsed under the pressure on test day. A graduate of all 8 training modules, high school senior Matt now aces his tests because he learned how to use his stress to enhance his mental picture. This senior can complete his homework in class while actively listening and responding to the teacher if called on. An excellent student and accomplished athlete, Matt is looking forward to the challenge of college.

Aces Spelling Tests: Brittany, a 7th grade student, routinely failed spelling tests prior to Brighter Minds mental calisthenics exercises. After completing the 6th module, Brittany gets A's on spelling tests. Her confidence in schoolwork and her soccer game is vastly improved. Before her training, Brittany always received good grades but had to work very hard for them. Since her training, Brittany's retention abilities have improved and her schoolwork is easier to manage; she received straight A's on her last report card. She continues to be motivated by her Brighter Minds training and enjoys the challenge of the advanced exercises.  spelling

“We are so thankful we enrolled our children in the program and highly recommend it to all people.”

Self-Management: 5th grade student, Jill, had only progressed in study to the lower 3rd grade level. Jill was enrolled in special education classes for reading and comprehension. Prior to training, Jill would become frustrated and have emotional outbursts when facing homework. Since starting Brighter Minds training eight months ago, she is confident and positive when it comes to her studies. Now Jill does her homework at night without supervision and her recent report card showed “improvement in Jill’s progress at school and meeting her goals.” Jill also applies her mental calisthenics training to her sports. A softball pitcher and basketball player, Jill uses her training to improve clarity of the target and to manage distractions that previously created stress for her.
