Scholars agree without argument that the potential of the human brain is infinite. According to the National Academy of Sciences, the human brain has an unlimited number of possible connections among its neurons. The average brain contains an estimated one trillion (10 12) neurons (i.e., brain cells) and 10 Quadrillion (10 16) synaptic connections (i.e., connections between neurons) to make up the dendrite pathways (i.e., neural wiring system).
Did you know you can increase the number of connected neurons and dendrite pathways you have in your brain?
What a novel idea for an individual, business, or industry to maximize this vast resource. By increasing the mental energy of the mind, a person’s potential automatically increases. Minor “glitches” in a person’s dendrite pathways can skew the thinking process. We consider these glitches (or barriers) the leading cause of stress, frustration, errors, accidents, and many learning disabilities. The Brighter Minds team has created a safe and fun environment for helping clients permanently remove these barriers.
Identifying Information Processing Barriers
After an extensive evaluation process, we carefully evaluate the client's data to determine which of the five critical information processing abilities (shape, size, position-in-space, directionality and figure-ground detail) is "skewed." Each information processing ability is critical to a person's ability to learn. Our exercises touch on all five abilities so that clients develop and improve the information processing skills needed to overcome the barriers to their own success.
Brighter Minds Mental Aerobics Program is highly interactive and hands-on. The Brighter Minds team successfully helps individuals overcome an array of mental barriers to include dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, memory problems, mental blocks, bad habits, dexterity, slow comprehension, and eye-hand coordination. We help high achievers improve memory, recall, problem-solving efficiency, visualization skills, and to convert stress into positive outcomes.
The Brighter Minds program consists of a series of scientifically developed exercises, designed to stimulate the eidetic (eyesight), tactile/kinesthetic (touch/muscle) and auditory (hearing) sences.
Clients demonstrate improvement in:
Whole brain utilization to improve thinking
Independent thinking
Mental imaging to boost memory
Utilization of all three primary learning modalities to enhance visual, auditory, and touch/muscle coordination
The five critical information processing abilities—shape, size, position-in-space, figure-ground detail, and direction.
